COMPANY HISTORY

Established in April 1997 by Peter Sawyer, A A Engineering Industrial Doors started life with two of us in a van covering the South of the country installing and repairing mainly industrial doors. We specialised in fire and security doors and worked in some very unusual places-Hinkley point nuclear power station (still glowing now!), Bank of England main printing works (lots of money around!), Water treatment works (not so nice!), Cardiff barrage project (control room doors fitted by us!), Naval war ships (armed guard all day!) and Mrs Smiths garage (great coffee and cake!).

Our reputation grew fast as did the company. We just did the job to the best of our ability and maintained attention to detail. It seemed to work and before long the number of employees started to steadily grew. We struggled for a while in the early years trying to teach employees the importance of standards, quality and pride in the job they left. We soon realised not everyone was suitable for this job! All the years of experience we now have, has helped to produce the dedicated team in place.

Today our team of 9, guided by Geoff our general manager (20 years door experience), strive hard to maintain the attention to detail and quality of the job any of our Engineers do. We insist they always do the best job possible to produce the finest possible finish whether it be an industrial or garage door.

We do many large sites around the South West and are the preferred supplier to many construction companies and architects, due to our size and structure we still have the personal touch and friendly approach. We do everything from a garage door repair at £30.00 to large sites up to £50,000.
